For those who have the ears to listen…many years ago I traveled the land
where red stone lives…..there I met an Ojibwa medicine man named Walks
With Prayers…..one night this ancient soul came to the campsite where
myself and companions were camped... He said, "I was watching T.V. the
other night and are they ever clear-cutting the rainforests in South
America….
He said, "You know my friends, if they keep doing this they are going to end
up where the Unseen Ones sleep and something terrible is going to happen."
He said, "Mother Earth is going to punish us again, like she did when with
small pox when men went crazy looking for gold...
He said, "The moon belongs to the women, so women should never go up in
space or anywhere near the moon…if she does bad weather will come to the
great circle...floods will come to Turtle Island because Grandmother Moon
controls the tides...
He said, "Humans have to stop being so cruel to the little animals, they have
to stop using the monkeys and the mice in their laboratories or something
very bad will come of this."
I have come to understand and accept the old mans words; you see not long
ago in Africa, deep in a clear-cut jungle, Mother Earth released a deadly
virus...the Ebola virus...someone must have finally found that place where
the Unseen Ones sleep. The fact that the Ebola virus is so deadly is all that
saved the rest of the world……..you see people died before they could even
make it out of their villages...that Ojibwa elder spoke the truth long ago
when he warned us of those little bugs that eat people up from the inside in
his own language. I now believe the words that he spoke when he told us
that women should never go near the moon because Grandmother Moon
controls all cycles here on Turtle Island...you see not long ago it snowed in
Africa; this brought the Dark Rider and he carried off many souls...
Not long ago it snowed in Mexico and thousands of Monarch butterflies
died.
That elder was right when he said that if women went up in space she would
cause the Old Cold One to walk in places who never before have felt his
breath…the last few years have been nothing but floods, tornadoes, storms,
hurricanes, and unpredictable weather like we have never seen before.
Many years ago a medicine elder told me the future and he was right…you
see man didn't stop torturing monkeys in his laboratories...now monkeys
have fought back with those little bugs that eat us up from the
inside...monkeys have fought back by giving AIDS to humans...
That elder was absolutely right! Man did not stop torturing mice in his
laboratories…..and so mice have fought back by releasing a deadly disease
that kills by riding the air into our lungs...that disease is the Hanta virus and
the Dark Rider has taken many because of it. That elder was right when he
talked of the things he believed in that campground long ago and far
away………..
